Upon receipt of your uploaded prescription we will review the prescription and reserve the right to request further information or to decline to dispense the prescription at our sole discretion. Otherwise if the prescription is to be dispensed by us we will notify you of the medicines and cost applicable to the prescription. Pilldrop Pharmacy offers free standard prescriptions which would otherwise incur a $5 co-payment. This offer excludes prescriptions issued by a dentist or specialist or any non-subsidised or partially subsidised medicines.
You authorize us to contact you and your medical practitioner if we consider that there is a risk of clinically significant interaction of your prescribed medicines.
You can then choose at checkout whether to proceed with PillDrop Pharmacy dispensing the prescription. If you choose to proceed then you must make payment in full by credit card or bank transfer and choose an available delivery time and date.
Your user account will contain information on the number of repeats you have left on a prescription and indicate when your repeats will expire.
If you are out of repeat prescriptions and need further supplies of the relevant medicine you may choose the Request Prescription option on the PillDrop website. By selecting this option you authorize PillDrop Pharmacy to request a prescription on your behalf from your GP.
The request to your general practitioner for a prescription usually takes about one working day to be supplied by your GP.

Your GP may refuse to issue a prescription if they need to see you in person as a patient. All charges relating to issuing of a new prescription by your GP is your responsibility.
